This is my first time using blogger.... blogspot.... whatever this thing is called. xD
Well... I'll be primarily using this blog to talk about the preparations of my upcoming journey to Japan (and of course, I'll update when I'm there as well). Finally... after years of wanting to go (ever since high school!), I actually have the chance to go now! I'll be heading over to the land of the rising sun during the third week of July and staying there for 5 weeks for a much needed Japanese language practice session. This will probably be the most practice I'll be getting out of the 6 or so years of learning the language (it sounds like alot... but without practice, it means nothing >_>). Hopefully, it will all be worth it in the end aka be much more fluent than I am presently (which isn't saying much T_T).
Other than language study, it'll just be great to finally visit another country (other than Canada...), especially by myself. Yup... first time traveling alone. I'm kind of scared, but really excited at the same time. I really don't know what to expect when I get there... Let's hope it turns out great!!
